More about Sweetbay Shop:
Wakefield native Beth Hylan, along with her daughter Liz Ferreira are thrilled to return home to Wakefield.
With a combined 40 + years of experience in the retail and floral industry, this mother-daughter team is excited to set up shop again in the square.
Beth has had numerous shops in the Wakefield area since the 1990s and most recently spend 8 years as a part of Nesting in Concord, MA. Aside from floral design, she specializes in retail merchandising and is always on the hunt for special pieces for the shop. She loves sharing her amazing finds with our clientele.
Having grown up in the business alongside her mother, Liz understands the unique relationship between a small business and its community. She spent 9 years in management roles at Winston Flowers in Boston where she had the chance to learn from the very best in retail and floral design.
You’ll often find Beth and Liz at the shop changing up the displays, chatting with customers or designing a wedding, all while keeping their eyes on Liz’s children - the next generation of Sweetbay.
