Hi!  I’m Amy Sinclair, Yoga Teacher, Health & Happiness Coach, & part time mermaid.

Yes, you can be anything you want to be, at any age, for any reason, or for no reason at all. 

Where it all began....

On somewhat of a whim, before ever having stepped foot in a yoga studio, Amy enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training in January, 2013.  Soon after graduation in summer 2013, Amy began teaching yoga, and hasn't stopped since. In March 2014, Amy completed her 100-Hour Barre & Soul Teacher Training (also on a whim) with Barre & Soul founder, Andrea Isabelle Lucas. In November 2014, Amy quit her full time job as a food scientist to teach yoga and barre full time.  Since then, Amy has taught over 2000 yoga and barre classes.  She now serves as a leader of Barre Teacher training at Barre & Soul, and a mentor for new barre and yoga teachers.  She enjoys planning yoga retreats, workshops, and events.

Amy's teaching style is light-hearted and playful, but also challenging.  Amy's yoga classes are intelligently sequenced with care.  Amy's barre classes are a blend of mindful movements, humor, and positivity.   Amy hopes to bring the joy and inspiration she found through a regular yoga and barre practice to as many people as possible.  Her students describe her as authentic, honest, and compassionate.

In 2016, Amy began pursuing her life long (dormant) dream of becoming a firefighter. After passing the ELPAT (entry level physical abilities test) and written exam for Massachusetts Firefighters, she is now on the eligibility list waiting to be hired (which could take years, or not happen at all!) She completed her EMT training in March 2017, and started working for Action Ambulance as a per diem EMT in September 2017.  In November of 2017, Amy started working as a Health & Wellness coach for the Breast Cancer Weight Loss Study (BWEL) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

What is health & happiness coaching?

During our work together, we'll design and realize a health and happiness vision for your future. This will be your ideal state of health, happiness, and wellness.  We'll dive deep to find the source of your intrinsic motivation, and how you can utilize your unique strengths to bring your dream to life. Together, we will design a roadmap that leads you to where you want to be (physically, mentally, and spiritually).  I'll draw on my health coach training, yoga philosophy, and nutrition education, and use positive psychology, evidence-based research, and excellent listening and reflecting skills to create an all encompassing wellness plan.

Through self-discovery tools such as journal prompts, self-assessments, custom guided meditations, and brainstorming sessions, we will take a judgement-free look at your “stuff” and figure out how to make sustainable change in your life.    

This is so much more than goal setting and accountability.

What does the program look like?

Start with a free 20 minute initial consultation
3 months of calls & support
Weekly calls for 4 weeks (45-60 minutes each)
Then biweekly calls for 2 months (8 calls total)
Customized meditations
Homework assignments (journal prompts, self-assessments, and more)
Unlimited email support with 24 hr turnaround (probably quicker)

Private Events
